To Whom It May Concern:
As Administrator/Principal of St. Catherine's Military School, I contacted Mrs. Margarita O'Farrill about the possibility of teaching etiquette for our boys. She was fabulous and the boys really learned the basic elements of etiquette. I highly recommend Mrs. O'Farrill to your school. She was able to take 20 students at a time. We included as part of our health curriculum but it would be appropriate also in a mini course or an elective course. I think parents today are realizing that their children need guidance in etiquette in social situations.
One Student in 7th grade felt it was important when he began dating. Others saw the class as important for manners help in getting along with others and being successful in life. I will let the boys speak for themselves:
If you would like to have a mini course that consists of 4 lessons per 20 students at a time or if you would want to incorporate the 4 lessons per 20 students at a time with p.e. or health classes over the school year, it is well worth it. The children really learned a great deal and our parents were very pleased. Our students (all boys) in grades 4-8 took the course and I was very pleased with their response as well as the parent response. I would recommend Mrs. O'Farrill's class to anyone.
