Hi.
My name is Sarah
Berthelet and I'm fourteen.
Last Fall, I was
invited to Washington, D.C. for the Children's National Prayer Congress
and National Day of Prayer. I was thrilled! A friend told us about Maggie
O'Farrill's Etiquette and Social Graces Course so we enrolled. In
this course, I learned about conversation, how to walk, remember people's
names along with all the table etiquette and a ton of other stuff.
This really prepared me each step of the way and helped me to be more confident
when I attended a very fancy banquet in the Mayflower Hotel. This course
made me more secure when I gave my speech, when my team received
a special pass to tour the White House, and when I met many politicians.
Not only has this course helped me in Washington, D.C., but also when I
went to my school's Spring Banquet and Dance. I could relax and enjoy.
As the saying goes, you never know when you may need to know etiquette,
you may end up in the White House like I did.
